The original Warzone launched in 2019 alongside Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. It’s now been over three years, and players have had a chance to collect an impressive library of cosmetics and blueprints.

Does MW2 Progress Transfer Over to Warzone 2?
Modern Warfare 2 progression will transfer over to Warzone 2, including your level, weapon unlocks, attachments, and cosmetics.
Warzone 2, DMZ, and MW2 feature a streamlined progression system where players only need to unlock an item in one mode to use it in all three.

Warzone 2 also uses the new Gunsmith system from Modern Warfare 2! It allows players to customize their weapons in new ways using Weapon Platforms and Weapon Tuning.
Does Warzone Progress Transfer To Warzone 2?
None of your progress from Warzone will transfer over to Warzone 2. Instead, it’ll now be a part of Warzone Caldera!
The original Warzone will transition into Warzone Caldera following a short intermission.
Do Operator Skins & Blueprints Carry Over to Warzone 2?
Operator Skins and Blueprints will not carry over from Warzone Caldera to Warzone 2. This means that you will not be able to bring any of the skins/bundles you’ve purchased in the original Warzone with you. Warzone 2 is an entirely new game with new Operators and weapons.
Players can look at a few of the Warzone 2 brand new Operator Bundles with the upcoming World Cup collaboration featuring Messi, Neymar Jr, and Pogba.
Will My COD Points Transfer to Warzone 2?
COD Points from past Call of Duty titles will transfer automatically into Warzone 2. As soon as players log into Warzone 2, they will see their COD points on the top right of the screen.
Although, COD Points do not transfer between platforms. This means that if you purchased your COD Points on PC, they are unavailable on PS4/PS5 or Xbox One/Xbox Series S|X.
COD Points also will not transfer between Battle.Net and Steam. This means that if you wish to change the launcher, then you’d need to spend those COD Points on the launcher that you purchased them in.
The items that you bought would show up on the other launcher.
Will Warzone Stats Carry Over to Warzone 2?
No, Warzone stats will not carry over to Warzone 2. Anything regarding Warzone will transfer over to Warzone Caldera.
So if you’re hoping to continue your winning streak on the original Warzone, you’ll need to wait until Warzone Caldera is released following its quick intermission.
Despite carrying the same name, Warzone 2 is very much a sequel and a separate experience from the original Warzone.
