A new leak by reliable leaker “CODSploitzImgs” has hinted at the return of a fan favorite Warzone 2 mode, Plunder.

The leaked footage showcases, a player in Al Mazrah, with the Plunder cash score tracker in the bottom left.

It is still unknown whether the mode will return. However, its appearance in the game files suggests a possibility it could come to Warzone 2.

Although, we have already seen one popular Warzone mode return to the second installment of Call of Duty’s Battle Royale, showing the developers do have a track record of bringing modes back.

Of course, Season 2 is just around the corner so we should know more information if Plunder is coming to Warzone 2 any time soon.

If it isn’t implemented at the start of the second season, the Season 2 Reloaded update is another potential time frame.

What Is Plunder?

Plunder was a respawn game mode set in the Warzone Battle Royale maps. As part of a squad, players must collect as much cash as possible from the ground or from loot caches.

To save your cash, you would need to deposit it at a helipad or a cash deposit balloon. Then when one team reaches $1 million or the timer runs out, the game goes into overtime.

At this point, all cash amounts found increase by 1.5 times. The winner of the game would be the team with the most cash at the end.

This mode was a less intense style of Battle Royale and was often a way for players to warm up or level up their weapons quickly.

Most of the Warzone 2 Season 2 updates are already known. However, there is another feature that has been teased to return in the next update!
