The rumors were true and the Pay to Win LA Thieves CDL Operator in Warzone 2 has received a nerf in Season 1 Reloaded.
It seems that players can’t escape Pay-to-Win skins in Warzone. In the original Warzone, players had to deal with the Roze skin not once but twice.
Now in Warzone 2, it seems the LA Thieves CDL Operator has taken that mantle. But the dominant skin didn’t stick around for long.
Warzone 2 LA Thieves CDL Operator Skin Changed in Season 1 Reloaded
In the Call of Duty Blog post for Season 1 Reloaded, the Warzone 2 LA Thieves CDL Operator Skin appeared to be wearing some new bright red straps.
Now that the update is finally here, we can confirm that the Pay to Win skin just got a major change, making it far more visible.
When the CDL LA Thieves Operator was first announced, many believed there would be issues with its visibility in-game.

Unfortunately, it seems that players who purchased the operator because they liked its design could have a hard time getting a refund despite the changes.
Some players have reported success with Battle.net, Steam, and Microsoft, however. So if you’re hoping to get a refund, here’s what you need to know:
MavrigGG on Twitter quickly noted that the fine print states, “Activision may update, replace, or remove this in-game content at any time.”

Now that the skin has been nerfed, it’s visible as clear as day, defeating the point for many who bought the cosmetic for an in-game advantage.
That said, the skin’s design is now far more in-line with the other CDL skins now, and looks pretty stylish with its new red highlights.
