The Gulag is back in Warzone 2.0, and players can again enter the arena for a chance to redeploy. Except for this time around, you won’t be alone.
In Warzone 2, the Gulag places two players in a 1v1 situation where only the victor is allowed to redeploy back to Al Mazrah.
Originally, the Gulag featured a 2v2, but due to the voice of the community, Infinity Ward returned to a traditional 1v1 format with Warzone 2 Season 2.
With Warzone 2 Season 3, Infinity Ward introduces a completely new map for players to fight for survival, Blacksite.
Warzone 2 Gulag – Blacksite Map & Tips
With Warzone 2 Season 3, Al Mazrah will introduce Blacksite, a new training ground for Operators looking to return to the battlefield.
This asymmetrical map features several interior spaces and long external routes, allowing players a little creativity when engaging their enemies.
Blacksite is also one of the maps for the upcoming Gunfight mode in MW2. This means players that own Modern Warfare 2 can head into a custom match and practice their Gulag routes.
Here are some things to keep in mind with the Warzone 2 Season 3 Gulag:
- A second redeploy option will pop up if neither player eliminates the other when the timer runs out.
- A Domination-style flag will appear in the middle of the map.
- The first player to capture this flag will redeploy.
- Eliminating the other player will still redeploy you.
- Play to the strengths of your loadout.
- If you have an SMG, you must get up close and personal or risk misfiring due to recoil.
- With an AR or LMG, you can keep an eye on your opponent from a distance.
- Try to flush out the enemy with your tactical or lethal grenade.
- Be confident, and do not hesitate.
- Most Gulags are decided by the first player to hit their shot.
- If you see the enemy, then do not hesitate. Play smart, but if you have a chance, then take it.
How to Redeploy in Warzone 2
Players can redeploy in Warzone 2 Season 3 in a variety of ways, including:
- Winning their Gulag match
- Obtaining a Redeploy Pack
- Getting bought by a teammate in a Buy Station 2.0
All these methods will bring players back into Al Mazrah for another chance at obtaining a Warzone Victory.
But it is worth noting that without a Gulag Entry Kit, players can only participate in the Gulag once per match.
So if you’re hoping to redeploy constantly, you may want to play Al Mazrah Resurgence.
Can I Still Redeploy If I Lose My Gulag Match?
Yes, if you play Duos, Trios, or Quads and lose your Gulag match, your team will still have the option to buy you back from the Buy Station 2.0.
Although, if you are playing Solos and lose in the Gulag, you will no longer be able to revive yourself.
Can I Enter The Gulag Multiple Times In One Match?
Yes, Warzone 2 Season 3 is introducing the Gulag Entry Kit sometime during the season. Call of Duty has yet to give an exact date for this new feature.
This is a completely new feature to the Call of Duty Franchise. This means that players will have the chance to enter the Gulag multiple times over the course of a single match.
Any player with a knack for winning 1v1 battles will always enjoy having a Gulag Entry Kit in their inventory.
