It looks like Warzone 2.0 will be getting a small-scale Resurgence map in addition to Al Mazrah!
Every Warzone fan loves the battle royale experience but there are two different kinds – the classic BR mode as well as the fast-paced Resurgence game modes that let players respawn on a smaller map.
However, the leak that Rebirth Island and Fortune’s Keep will be removed has Resurgence fans worried. This is because Activision has not announced a new small map for Warzone 2.0 yet.
Despite this, that doesn’t mean that the game won’t be getting a small map soon after launch.
But before you find out about a possible second Warzone 2.0 map, here’s the size, POIs, and more about Al Mazrah!

Will Warzone 2 Get a Second Small-Size Map?
It looks very likely that Warzone 2.0 will get another map after launch. This is despite Activision not announcing anything about a second map in the game yet.
Reliable Call of Duty leaker @TheGhostOfHope tweeted claiming that Beenox and Toys for Bob are developing a smaller Resurgence map for Warzone 2.0.
The setting of this map is unknown at the moment but @TheGhostOfHope has revealed when we can expect it to release.

Warzone 2.0 Small Map Release Date
A second, smaller map for Warzone 2.0 will come out in mid-2023, according to reliable leaker @TheGhostOfHope. This release window is not official information from Activision but lines up with the usual release schedule of Warzone maps.
Both of the previous small-scale maps, Rebirth Island and Fortune’s Keep came out between 6-9 months after Warzone and Warzone Pacific were released. Therefore, it makes sense for Activision to follow this pattern once again.
An official announcement about this second Warzone 2.0 map will surely be quite a while off yet. However, until then, find out about the new Loadout Drop system in Warzone 2.0!
In other news, there could be a very surprising addition to Call of Duty. Warzone 2.0 and MW2 could get footballer operators!
