In case you hadn’t heard, there’s a huge new Warzone event taking place later today. And when the Nuke goes off, it looks as though battle royale fans are going to head back in time to the 1980s.

As the Black Ops Cold War storyline finally collides with Warzone, we’re traveling into the past. And Warzone’s Verdansk map looks very different in the 1980s!

Now, thanks to a series of new leaks, not only do we have an early look at Warzone’s 1980s Verdansk, we can also see the return of Summit.

Warzone Leak Reveals 1980s Map, Summit, and New POIs

We already knew that the new Warzone map would bring brand-new POIs to the battle royale. But few people guessed that classic Black Ops map Summit would be one of them.

On top of revealing the new POI, Warzone leaker just4leaks_1337 is able to showcase brand-new images of Warzone’s 1980s Verdansk map.

These include a look at the new radar POI, as well as a shot of Summit’s appearance inside Warzone. There’s also an image of two Operators dropping into Verdansk from above, showing an overview of the 1980s Verdansk map.

Excitingly, perhaps this means that Summit is one of the leaked map remakes coming to Black Ops Cold War very soon. We’re sure fans would be happy to see it return, although we did just get a brand-new map remake in Season 3.

This is also our first look at the new 1980s variant of Stadium, and the arena is lacking its roof in its older model. With less buildings and cover available, it’ll be an interesting map to battle it out on.
