The fan-favorite Verdansk map is set to make a return in the upcoming Call of Duty Warzone Mobile game.
We’re getting some exciting new information regarding Warzone Mobile thanks to the Call of Duty Next stream. It looks to be one of the best shooters on mobile devices.
While we have to wait a bit longer until Warzone Mobile finally arrives on our phones, those who play normal Warzone may be excited to hear about a returning map.
That’s right, Verdansk is coming back to Warzone… technically, with it arriving on Warzone Mobile in the near future.
Verdansk is Coming Back Thanks to Warzone Mobile
Confirmed in the Call of Duty Next live stream, Verdansk is returning for the release of Warzone Mobile.
Players will land with 119 others to battle it out on the classic Verdansk map. Just like in the early days of Warzone.
Many of Verdank’s famous Points of Interest will return, such as Boneyard, Superstore, and TV Station.
If you’re hoping to jump back into Verdansk, make sure to pre-register for Warzone Mobile to play as soon as it releases.
Warzone Mobile is said to feature hard-hitting strategy gameplay that many Warzone players will know by now.
Many players were hoping for Verdansk’s return after it Caldera replaced it for Season 1 of Vanguard in December 2021.
While there’s no confirmation of Verdansk coming back in Warzone 2.0, this is definitely good news for those who don’t mind playing mobile games.
There’s also shared progression between Modern Warfare 2, Warzone 2.0, and Warzone Mobile for a “more unified experience”.
Those who are looking to pick up MW2 at launch should pre-order to get access to the PlayStation-exclusive Oni Operator for Modern Warfare 2.
