Call of Duty Vanguard Details Leak: 6v6 Maps, Dynamic Weather, SBMM & More

A bunch of new details has potentially been leaked for Call of Duty Vanguard, detailing multiplayer maps, weather effects, campaign, and more.

Earlier today we reported on another leak that suggested Call of Duty Vanguard’s reveal event may have been unveiled.

Although the game has yet to be officially announced, new details are already surfacing in the wake of its reveal rumored for this month.

In fact, Call of Duty themselves is teasing Vanguard from directly within the Season 5 Key Art. Therefore, it’s incredibly likely that Vanguard is just around the corner.

However, in the meantime, here are all of the new details that have been potentially leaked for Call of Duty Vanguard.

Vanguard To Feature Dynamic Weather Effects

Whilst perhaps not on the top of the list for questions fans have been asking, new details regarding weather and weather effects may have been unveiled.

Interestingly enough, a number of credible leakers over on Twitter, including Tom Henderson and TheGhostofHope have both stated that Dynamic Weather is coming to the game.

Furthermore, in a recent Tweet, TheGhostofHope had the following to say:

Dynamic weather will be in Vanguard multiplayer. Think like advanced warfare.

According to the source, Dynamic Weather will function a lot like Advanced Warfare. This means that fans can look forward to a vastly improved weather system, the likes of which have been seen before in Call of Duty’s history.

6v6 Maps In Vanguard

Similarly, new details regarding the Multiplayer aspect of Vanguard may have been revealed. Interestingly, it appears that Vanguard will be launching with an abundance of 6v6 maps.

Furthermore, fans of Black Ops Cold War will likely be overjoyed to hear this, seeing as the lack of 6v6 maps in Cold War caused huge frustration for players.

However, again the information comes from TheGhostofHope over on Twitter. In another Tweet, he claims that 12 6v6 maps are arriving, with “most of them being good”.

Interestingly, we can infer from this statement that some of the Vanguard maps may in fact already be existing maps that players have experienced before.

This actually correlates with an earlier leak, which suggested a classic MW2 map could be returning for COD 2021.

Although, obviously there will be new additions to the upcoming game for players to experience for themselves.

SBMM In COD Vanguard

Perhaps one of the most make-or-break aspects of a multiplayer shooter is its SBMM system. Although Warzone players have been fighting against tough lobbies recently, COD 2021’s SBMM details may have already leaked.

However, it doesn’t sound too good so far. According to TheGhostofHope, the only way to avoid the SBMM issues in Vanguard is to “play the game as part of a six-man group”.

Interestingly, this implies that the SBMM, which has plagued Warzone, may also cause some frustration in the latest COD installment too.

However, the source has also claimed the following regarding Vanguard, and its potential to take the COD’s reputation amongst the community by storm.

This game honestly sounds like a win for Warzone, 6v6 fans, and Zombies fans. Seems like there is something for everybody so far. Gameplay design is everything though.

Although we don’t have many details to go off, it’s only a matter of time before fans get to see Vanguard revealed in all its glory.

In fact, we already know what the reveal event in Warzone for Vanguard could look like. Additionally, other sources have claimed that it’s “going to be insane”.

Additionally, if you would like to check out the leaks for yourself over on Twitter, you can do so here. Bear in mind that everything could be subject to change in the wake of Vanguard’s reveal.

However, Season 5 of Black Ops Cold War and Warzone is about to begin, and we’ve already done the hard work and come up with the best loadout to beat hackers and counter cheaters.

We hope you’re excited about Call of Duty Vanguard, we will continue to keep you posted regarding any news or updates on the state of the game, even if some believe it’s already a disaster.
