Vanguard Champion Hill Best Weapon in Alpha – Overpowered Gun

It’s only been a few hours since the launch of the Vanguard Champion Hill Alpha and already the game’s best weapon is clear.

Vanguard’s Alpha is currently live on PS4 and PS5 consoles, and we’re experiencing what it’s like to return to WW2 in Call of Duty.

Unfortunately, it’s not smooth sailing for everyone in the ongoing Alpha. After all, many players are complaining that Vanguard’s Champion Hill mode is boring and not fun.

What’s more, Vanguard appears to have a big visibility problem already.

And that really doesn’t help with the camping issues in Champion Hill either.

If you’re just about the drop into the Vanguard Alpha and wonder what gun you should be using, the answer is clear. When it comes to the battle royale meets gunfight mode, one weapon is miles above the rest.

Vanguard Alpha’s Best Gun – BAR

If you’re jumping into the Vanguard Alpha, be sure to grab the BAR at the start of Champion Hill for the game’s best gun.

Call of Duty Vanguard’s Alpha has 6 unique weapons to experience, but one is head and shoulders above the rest. The BAR is a powerful automatic rifle with a slow rate of fire but some hard-hitting firepower.

Not only does the BAR have incredible range but it can penetrate more than just Vanguard’s reactive environments. It definitely feels like the rifle is able to shoot through almost every surface in the game with ease.

What’s more, when you spend some of your hard-earned cash to upgrade the BAR, Vanguard’s best weapon gets even better. At its first upgrade, the BAR gains a great scope which makes headshotting enemies easy from any range.

Of course, it’s always good to swap out your pistol for the BAR, leaving you with a fast-firing M1928 for closer encounters. At later upgrade tiers, the BAR loses almost all recoil, and even gains damage with incendiary rounds.

And although the BAR doesn’t benefit too much for Vanguard’s broken Blindfire mechanic, its pros outweigh the cons with ease.

In case you missed it, Vanguard’s SBMM is already turning heads due to its similarity with Black Ops Cold War. Meanwhile, we just got our first footage of Vanguard’s Campaign mode in the Stalingrad mission.

And we can’t wait to see Vanguard’s new Combat Pacing in action – it’s sure to be a game-changer at launch!
