PlayStation owners can get access to the Vanguard Champion Hill Alpha today and begin playing very soon! But what can we expect from our first look at Call of Duty’s return to WW2?
Everything Coming to Vanguard Champion Hill Alpha
Call of Duty: Vanguard’s Champion Hill Alpha is about to get underway – here’s what’s coming to the popular trial.
- Champion Hill Duos
- Champion Hill Trios
- Auto-Loading Shotgun
- Machine Pistol
- 3-Line Rifle
Both Weapon Set 1 and 2 will include Assault Rifles, LMGs, Shotguns, and Pistols. The weapons players will get to use should rotate throughout the Alpha.
- MK2 Frag Grenade
- No. 69 Stun Grenade
- Throwing Knife
- Gammon Bomb
- MK V Gas Grenade
- S-Mine 44
Players will keep their Perks between matches, and purchase up to 6 Perks per game of Champion Hill!
- Survival Training
- High Alert
- Double Time
It’s worth noting that Ghost now makes players undetectable by Spy Planes, enemy intel, and Field Mics but ONLY when moving. This will be a big improvement, particularly if it comes to Warzone with the Vanguard integration.
After purchasing a streak reward, it will immediately activate at the beginning of the next match.
- Spy Plane
- V2 Rocket
- Extra Life
- Armor Plate
- Full Armor
After players were begging for the Nuke to return in Black Ops Cold War, Treyarch finally added the Scorestreak to the game. Now, the V2 Rocket will be in the game from launch!
- Lucas Riggs
- Polina Petrova
- Wade Jackson
- Arthur Kingsley
The 4 main characters of the Call of Duty: Vanguard story will appear as Operators in the Vanguard Alpha. However, players will be randomly assigned their Operator this time around.
After this Champion Hill Alpha, we’ll finally be able to see just how much of an issue Blindfire is in Vanguard. We also know that features such as Tactical Sprint will be present in Vanguard at launch.
And although you won’t feel it much in the Alpha, we’ve got some controversial news. According to early leaks, Vanguard’s SBMM will be the same as Black Ops Cold War.
