Vanguard Beta players are already running into hackers and cheaters, raising concerns as to whether the problem will persist with the game’s launch.
Recently, players have been getting stuck into the Vanguard Open Beta. After a rough start, it appears that the game so far is suffering from further problems.
Firstly, Xbox & PC players are reporting graphical bugs, audio problems & more. Alongside this, there are concerns with how well the game can run on last-gen consoles.
In fact, the Vanguard Beta is virtually unplayable on PS4 at the moment, with huge blur issues. Now, it appears that a familiar foe has surfaced once again in the Vanguard Beta.
Warzone, the free-to-play Battle Royale has suffered from cheating problems for a long time now. Moreover, Warzone hackers & cheaters are still spoiling the game even now, thanks to a lack of anti-cheat.
Sadly, it now appears that Vanguard Beta players are experiencing a familiar woe after hackers appear to be heading over to the latest Call of Duty game.
Unfortunately, if Vanguard launches without sufficient anti-cheat measures, the game will likely suffer a similar fate. Although, Warzone players have the Vanguard Warzone map, which is set to introduce a new anti-cheat system.
Perhaps then, hopefully, we can expect to see an effort to stamp out hackers in the Vanguard Beta and beyond. But first, Here is what we know about the hacking problem so far.
Vanguard Beta Hackers
An issue that has plagued other Call of Duty titles has appeared in the Vanguard Open Beta. Players are now reporting that they are running into hackers & cheaters in the latest COD installment.
Interestingly, it appears that the issue is not as of yet not widespread. However, it does not bode well for the longevity of the game.
Users over on Twitter have been sharing their experiences with hackers in the Vanguard Beta. Although there has not been an official statement from Sledgehammer Games regarding the issue. Despite this, SHG has responded and fixed other issues, such as armor, visibility & more.
As you can see in the clip, it looks like cheaters already have access to aim-bots in the Vanguard Beta. Furthermore, there are questions being raised as to whether ban waves even work in Call of Duty titles.
Unfortunately, the situation is not looking good so far for Vanguard. However, it’s important to note that an Open Beta is a perfect stage to successfully implement anti-cheat measures, and address other key issues.
Therefore, perhaps we need to wait to see whether Sledgehammer Games can fix the game in time before condemning the game to the same fate as Warzone.
Despite this, there are other concerns, such as Vanguard’s SBMM already causing problems for players. Similarly, the game is suffering from lag spikes, packet loss, and high ping issues.
Although it isn’t all doom and gloom, in fact, we already know new details regarding the first Vanguard Zombies map, ‘Ritual of the Dead’
