The most common form of Poltchageist, The Teal Mask DLC’s new Matcha Pokemon, requires an Unremarkable Teacup to evolve. Thankfully, this item is easy to get your hands on.
Where to Get Unremarkable Teacup in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet
- To find the Unremarkable Teacup, head to Paradise Barrens in The Land of Kitakami, The Teal Mask’s new DLC area.
- Here, you’ll find a cave just to the right of the red signboard, which contains the Unremarkable Teacup.
- The evolution item will appear as a red Poke Ball item on the ground. Press A to pick it up and you’ll obtain the Unremarkable Teacup, which is a guaranteed spawn for all players.
So far, this appears to be the only way to find the item in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet, but we’ll update this article if more locations are discovered.

How to Use the Unremarkable Teacup
To use the Unremarkable Teacup in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet, simply open your bag and select it from Other Items.
You’ll then be able to use it on any Counterfeit Form Poltchageist to evolve it into Sinistcha.
This item cannot be used on Masterpiece Poltchageist variants.
How to Get Unremarkable Sinistcha
To get an Unremarkable Form Sinistcha, players need to use the Unremarkable Teacup on a Counterfeit Form Poltchageist.
This will evolve the Pokemon into the Unremarkable Form of its evolution.
You cannot use an Unremarkable Teacup on an Artisan Form Poltchageist. Instead, that version requires the Masterpiece Teacup to evolve.
Counterfeit Poltchageist are 100 times more common than Artisan versions. However, the only real difference between the two is that an Artisan Poltchageist will have a tiny stamp of authenticity near its base.
Poltchageist spawn in bamboo groves, and one of the best places to catch them is in the grove on Reveler’s Road, immediately east of Mossui Town and south of Kitakami Hall.
