Ghost of Tsushima Iki Island Story Details Revealed
Sony is currently working on 25 first-party PS5 games, and the next upcoming one is the Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut. The enhanced PS5 features are great, but the main attraction of the game is the huge new Iki Island expansion.
Now, a new trailer has revealed what players can expect from the hidden chapter in Jin Sakai’s story.
The trailer begins with Jin setting off to the mysterious Iki island by boat. However, Mongols capture Jin after his ship crashes on the shore.
It is here he meets the protagonist of the Ghost of Tsushima Iki Island expansion – the mysterious shaman known as ‘The Eagle’. It is Jin’s job to defeat the Eagle to protect Tsushima and all of Japan.
Iki Expansion Trailer – New Map, Characters & More
The new expansion will feature a huge new island to explore and new characters, as well as the new story and missions. As a lawless land full of bandits and criminals, Iki is totally different to Tsushima and will also be the place where Jin delves into the past of Clan Sakai.
The new Iki Island expansion will be part of the upcoming Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut. This will be the best way to experience the game for new players, but old players can also access the new cut of the game for a discounted price.
This release could be the biggest PS5 game of the year. Unfortunately, Horizon Forbidden West might not come out in 2021 after all.
Meanwhile, Sony has delayed God of War Ragnarok until 2022. Despite the Iki Island expansion coming as part of the Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut, it’s not looking good for PlayStation fans this year.
