Call of Duty players, rejoice. By popular demand, Activision is re-adding the Totally Normal Rebirth Resurgence mode in Warzone.
First of all, for those unfamiliar with the mode, “Totally Normal Battle Royale” is a modified version of the standard BR mode. It was first introduced as an April fools event and was later re-introduced on the 20th of April to celebrate 4 20.
The mode was so popular that many players asked for it to become permanent. While this has not been the case, Activision did introduce the mode in the playlist rotation. It’s looking like Totally Normal Battle Royale is here to stay, at least for now.
The Totally Normal Rebirth Resurgence is just the beginning. The most ambitious event in Warzone is yet to come. Don’t miss Operation Monarch; it’s going to be a blast.
What Are the Rules of Totally Normal Rebirth Resurgence
The Totally Normal mode of Warzone is chaotic. But the rule changes provide for many high octane moments and great fights that would not be possible in the normal Warzone mode.
Here are the rule changes:
- Free loadout drops from the start of the game
- Rebirth disabled at the end of the 7th circle (the circle will have moved several times by this point)
- No fall damage
- Specialist Perk for all players
- You get revived after a timer – if your whole squad wipes you get eliminated
If the rules seem wacky to you, well, that’s because they are. This mode is a much less competitive mode and focuses on the fun aspect of Warzone.
The new rules are a great way to drop some huge personal bests. Dropping 30-40 kills is no longer so difficult.
Dropping in from the air after a respawn and wiping an entire team with a loadout you’ve just picked up is peak mid-2000s Modern Warfare action.
This season brought a lot of “crazy” into Warzone, and that’s a good thing. Here is every meta weapon loadout in Warzone Season 3 – best guns for Godzilla vs. Kong.
How Long Will the Totally Normal Rebirth Resurgence Be Available
Since it became part of the Warzone Playlist, the Totally Normal Rebirth Resurgence will be present every week for May.
It’s looking like the mode will be available to play from the playlists from May 5th to around the 26th of May.
It’s looking like we’ll be able to control Godzilla and Kong in Warzone! Here’s how to do it in preparation for Operation Monarch.
