While Elden Ring’s Bows rarely come out compared to other weapons, finding a great one will help you out. Here are the best Bows to get your hands on in Elden Ring.

Bows aren’t going to be your main weapon, usually. The melee or sorceries will be the main component of many builds.

However, having a powerful bow is a great supplement to your build. Some arrows can hold powerful status effects, and be especially useful for difficult bosses.

Here are some of the best bows to find in The Lands Between, so you can shoot your enemies down from a distance!

The Best Bows in Elden Ring and Locations

These are some of the best Bows you can get in Elden Ring, for a variety of reasons. If you’re looking for a decent ranged weapon, look no further!

5. Longbow

Samurai Armor Set

Don’t sleep on the Longbow. While it’s undoubtedly basic compared to other ranged weapons in the game, and the other bows on this list, the Longbow is easy to find, easy to use, and one of the best for any builds!

You can find this Bow by purchasing it for 1,200 Runes from the Twin Maiden Husks. Alternatively, if you picked the Samurai class, you’ll get it as part of your starting equipment!

Its requirements are a measly 9 Strength and 14 Dexterity, primarily scaling with DEX, making it accessible to pretty much everyone in Elden Ring.

It can use standard arrows, as well as arrows such as St. Trina’s, which cause a target to fall asleep. It’s great to have in plenty of boss fights, like the Godskin Duo.

4. Pulley Crossbow

Elden Ring Pulley Crossbow

Thanks to a fast fire rate, this crossbow has the ability to inflict status effects on enemies quickly. However, the range is a lot shorter than a standard bow, and its standard damage is weaker.

The Pulley Crossbow can be found south of Mt. Gelmir at the Craftsman’s Shack.

It fires numerous shots per trigger pull, making it easy to run out of arrows fast. But, this helps with bringing your enemies down sooner, as well as the aforementioned status effects.

It also has the Kick as its standard Ash of War. If enemies get too close, it won’t kill them but will knock them back so you can quickly backstep away.

3. Pulley Bow

Elden Ring Pulley Bow

The Pulley Bow is one of the best standard bows in the game. It has a great range, allowing you to pick off enemies from a great distance.

Better yet, it hits fairly hard, with the physical damage at standard being 77. It also has low stat requirements, needing 11 points in both Strength and Dexterity.

You can find the Pulley Bow at the top of a siege tower in Mt. Gelmir on a corpse. If you head north from the Gelmir Hero’s Grave Site of Grace, you’ll soon find it!

The Pulley Bow uses the Mighty Shot Ash of War when first found, which requires a longer pullback to fire, but deals more damage per shot.

2. Jar Cannon

Elden Ring Jar Cannon

It’s a cannon that deals a hefty chunk of damage, almost killing any non-boss enemy at its standard. It deals 192 physical damage when you pick it up, which is nothing to complain about.

The Jar Cannon can be found at the end of Volcano Cave, north of, you guessed it, Mt. Gelmir.

The only issue is that it offers no scaling, requires 43 Strength and 12 Dexterity to use, and it takes a while to recharge.

1. Lion Greatbow

Lion Greatbow Elden Ring

To find this weapon, you simply need to kill General Radahn and exchange the Remembrance for the Lion Greatbow.

General Radahn is easily one of the best boss fights in the game. It makes sense that he’d have one of the best Bows in the game too.

It’s the only boss weapon on this list, but for good reason. Its stat requirements aren’t too high, with 22 Strength and 18 Dexterity required to wield it. It does base physical damage of 120, which is certainly good.

But what makes this weapon so special is the unique Weapon Skill that it comes with. The Radahn’s Rain skill allows you to shoot a volley of arrows into the sky and let it rain upon enemies.

It also gains a 20% increase in damage if you shoot Radahn’s Spears arrows with it.
