Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands Affected By SHiFT Connection Lost Errors

The Borderlands spin-off Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is suffering from some SHiFT connection errors, with constant pop-ups bothering some players.

A game rarely launches in a great state, with many bugs and server issues being patched shortly after.

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands seems to be no different. In this case, however, players can’t seem to escape an annoying error message.

While the game launched to some pretty good reviews, it seems some fans are reporting this issue.

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands – SHiFT Server Connection Errors

Players have voiced their concerns to the Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands subreddit with their frustration at the server errors.

These issues affect both the game and the main menu. Players will receive consistent “SHiFT Connection Lost” and “SHiFT Connection Active” messages.

Players will receive a “crossplay enabled” message after the connection active pop-ups too.

UPDATE – 3/25 9:29 PM EST – SHiFT has discussed this issue and a potential resolution ETA.

Some players are also reporting freezing when the SHiFT errors come up. It also seems that it’s affecting every platform.

This issue has been occurring for a few weeks, with Borderlands 3 offering similar error messages. Since both Wonderlands and Borderlands use the SHiFT service, it’s likely related to the addition of Wonderlands to SHiFT.

Currently, there are no solutions to this issue. Staff at GamingINTEL have also been affected by the SHiFT errors.

Solo players don’t have any issues other than possible stuttering and an annoying message. However, there could be problems with online play.

When a solution is available, we will update this article with the fix. Right now, it seems it will have to be patched out by the developers at Gearbox.

I can't even escape the title screen. It won't let me log in, but also won't let me skip logging in.

Actually, solo players CAN be affected. I went to get my pre-order skin and it removed the mail from my mail area and said it couldn't be redeemed because I lost connection to shift. So my pre-order skin is possibly lost for good as I didn't receive it.

Seems by turning of network on ps5 and play couch coop does help, since not online, no connection errors are possible !! :)

This is not a Wonderlands bug. It affects Borderlands 3 as well. This is a SHIFT systems issue.
