TimTheTatman Wants Verdansk to Return in Warzone

Popular streamer TheTheTatman wants Verdansk to return to Warzone and also revealed the maps they would like to see in Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.

It’s no surprise that Verdansk was a stark to the latest Pacific island map – Caldera. And after months of listening to players’ complaints regarding the gloomy map, Raven Software decided to remove it altogether.

You can check out the Caldera vs Verdansk comparison and see how the maps differ in size and other aspects.

That said, TimTheTatman wants to jump back in Verdansk, thanks to the interesting additions in Warzone recently.

TimTheTatman Wants Verdansk in Warzone, Names the Maps for Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2

Despite the NVIDIA filters providing visibility and adding color to Warzone, it appears TimTheTatman has some major issues with Caldera.

In their latest video, the streamer went on a rant about the Pacific map having too many trees. As a result, they stated that they can see more clearly on Verdansk compared to Caldera.

However, they quickly jumped to Raven’s defense, commending the fact that the developer has made efforts to listen to the community’s feedback.

“I think if you brought back Verdansk with the balloons that were implemented, I am telling you chat… I want to play that Verdansk,” said TimTheTatman while talking to their chat.

The redeploy balloons were added to Warzone with the start of Season 2, much like those in Apex Legends.

On top of this, Tim also stated that Warzone needs a map rotation system and named the maps they want to see in Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.

Here are the maps TimTheTatman wants to see in MW2 (2022) and Warzone 2:

  • Highrise
  • Terminal
  • Favela
  • Afghan
  • Rust
  • Derail
  • Scrapyard
  • Wasteland
  • Skidrow

Long-time fans of the franchise have some of the best memories on these maps and it would be a dream come true for any CoD fan to revisit these maps in the latest game engine.

Whether Raven Software succumbs to the nostalgic fans’ requests remains to be seen. But one thing is for sure, Activision is planning to support Modern Warfare 2 (2022) and Warzone 2 with plenty of exciting content.

Who knows Verdansk might also return to Warzone with its sequel. Also, it looks like Warzone 2 will have the FOV Slider on consoles as well, according to a leak. While its good news for the upcoming game, there’s bad news for the current battle royale players.

With everyone patiently waiting for the Season 2 Reloaded update, make sure to make the best use of these loadouts, before the meta shifts again:

Warzone2 IF LAUNCHED WILL BE A MASSIVE FAILURE. The community already refers to it as Warzone 2042 for a reason. I have a gaming group of about 250 players. All are ready to jump ship when and if it launches.
