What is Three Dimensional Maneuver Gear in Fortnite?
Three Dimensional Maneuver Gear (3D Maneuver Gear) is a set of wearable gear from the Attack on Titan manga and anime series.
The military gear allows humans to grapple nearby structures and pull themselves towards their targets at high speed.
Using two grappling hooks powered by a compressed gas cylinder, soldiers in AoT are able to massively boost their mobility to combat Titans.
In Fortnite, the 3D Maneuver Gear allows players to grapple around the map, similar to the Grapple Gloves in previous seasons.
It also comes with two Titan-killing blades that can be used to execute enemies with a vicious melee attack.
By firing the grapple shots at an enemy, players can use the Three Dimensional Maneuver Gear to pull themselves toward another user and slash at them in one fluid motion.
After this action is performed, the 3D Maneuver Gear-wielding player will leap into the air and have the chance to escape with ease.
