The PlayStation 5 is yet to release, and you can already get a good deal on its software. In fact, this store is already selling PS5 games on a ‘Buy Two, Get One Free’ offer.
Those looking to pick up their console on release day will need at least one game to play on the console. But with next-gen games retailing at a whopping $70, it’s more expensive than ever to be a gamer.
Thankfully, it’s possible to get one of your new purchases completely free. If you were looking to pick up a few games with your PS5, this could be the deal for you.
So long as you’re already picking up two games with the PS5, retailer Target will give you one on the house.
Which PS5 Games Are Target Selling on Buy Two, Get One Free?
According to a new promotion by the major retailer, Target is selling a number of products in the ‘Buy Two, Get One Free’ deal. The promotion isn’t necessarily just for PS5 games, either.
All manner of video games, music, books, movies, board games, and more can participate in the promotion. For maximum value, though, gamers will be wanting to claim a free PS5 game with their large purchase.
Some of the PS5 games on offer include launch title Godfall, as well as NBA 2K21. Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is another title available to purchase in the PS5 category.
It’s unclear as to whether these games are the only ones in the offer, but we very much doubt that. The Xbox version of Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla is included, which suggests that its PS5 counterpart may also be present.
Other Xbox titles shown off include Madden 21, Watchdogs: Legion, Star Wars: Squadrons, and Yakuza: Like a Dragon. We’d bet that there will be even more titles available when the offer goes live.
Reportedly, the offer goes live this Sunday, November 8, at participating Target stores. Most gamers may be hoping to get Demon’s Souls and Spider-Man: Miles Morales as a part of the bargain, but Sony’s biggest first-party titles are unlikely to be included.
This deal is occurring at the perfect time, seeing as the PlayStation 5 launch is just around the corner. If you’re yet to secure your device, PS5 consoles are available in certain stores on launch day.
Hopeful fans should ensure that they’re clued in on Target’s plans for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S launch day, however. Not everybody will be able to get a hold of the next-gen consoles, so it helps to be prepared.
Best Buy will be selling the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S at launch, too, but gamers need to follow the specific rules here again. Release day is sure to be a hectic mess no matter where you go, so ensuring you have a plan is key.
