This may well be the best Call of Duty: Warzone thermite play of all time, as a player makes a last-ditch effort to survive.
Sometimes winning in Warzone just seems impossible. But when the odds are stacked against you, remember that all is not lost.
In a new post on the Warzone subreddit, user CreamSupreme proves that there's always a chance of winning. Especially if you've got thermite to hand.
Warzone's Haunting of Verdansk update brings with it a new Zombie Royale game mode. Not only is the mode a whole lot of fun, but it also changes how Warzone plays for the better.
First off, of course, there's the small matter of the undead that roam the battle royale's hallowed grounds. But secondly, respawning players now drop in with all the equipment they had when they died.
This leads to one lucky Warzone player landing the best thermite play of all time.
The Best Warzone Thermite Play
As CreamSupreme drops back into the battlefield, it's just them and one other player remaining. Unfortunately, a bad turn leaves the user stranded in the gas.
Done for, the player realizes that there's no way to make it into the ring before they choke to death. With just the smallest sliver of health remaining, it was time for a last-ditch effort.
Unable to spot the enemy player, the dying soldier threw their two pieces of lethal equipment into the ring. In undoubtedly the best Warzone thermite play of all time, CreamSupreme launches their final projectiles.
And one of them sticks the landing. Literally, the thermite sticks onto its intended target, setting the enemy ablaze.
Seconds before the gas claims its next victim, the enemy is swallowed up in flames and dies. We can only imagine how frustrating it is to lose the Warzone victory to a random thermite throw.
Nobody in the player's squad can believe their luck, least of all CreamSupreme themself. But they'll be happy that this user made the change to thermite, following the C4 nerf.
