Our new Black Ops 6 Season 2 Zombies map is dropping very soon, and you can watch The Tomb’s full gameplay trailer here!
The wait for The Tomb is almost unbearable, especially since Treyarch has been dropping some heavy teasers over the last few days!
Now, after revealing the full Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 2 blog post earlier in the week, the developer has finally released our first extended look at The Tomb’s gameplay.
And while it’s not as long as some of the past Zombies map reveals, the new trailer serves as the perfect teaser for what’s to come!
The Tomb Gameplay Trailer
On January 24, 2025, the official Call of Duty YouTube channel uploaded the following trailer for The Tomb, a new Black Ops 6 Zombies map that arrives with Season 2 next Tuesday.
The Tomb and the entirety of the Season 2 update will go live in Black Ops 6 on January 28, 2025, at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET / 5 PM GMT.
The new trailer reveals what it looks like to head into the depths of the ancient dig site, where our Zombies Crew believes the Sentinel Artifact should be hiding.
It also showcases the returning Staff of Ice Wonder Weapon, which has seen quite an upgrade since it first appeared in Black Ops 2’s Origins. Now, the powerful elemental staff is capable of dishing out a powerful Area of Effect special ability, as well as being able to slow and freeze enemies with its icy blasts.
In addition, we also see the Ice Staff’s new healing ability, which can be used to revive allies from a distance with ease.
The trailer also gives us our first look at the returning Perk-a-Cola, Death Perception, in action. In Black Ops 6, Death Perception allows players to see enemies through walls, but it also has a few extra effects that make it the strongest version of the Perk to date.
Finally, after stepping into the Dark Aether once more, in an area oddly reminiscent of a COD: Ghosts Extinction mode map, we hear the voice of Sir Archibald Fotherington-Smythe.
We’ll be hearing echoes from the ill-fated explorer throughout The Tomb’s Easter Egg quest, which goes live at the same time as the new map.
