The Portable Decontamination Station, otherwise known as the PDS, is returning to Warzone in Season 2!
While guns are your most important equipment in Warzone, Field Upgrades can also have a huge impact. Now, one of the strongest Field upgrades from the Caldera days of Warzone is returning to the game very soon.
That’s right – the PDS is coming back to Warzone during Season 2!
PDS Teased in New Fortune’s Keep Image
Warzone developer Raven Software has shared a new image of Fortune’s Keep featuring “an old, strategic friend”. Of course, longtime Warzone players recognize this to be the PDS.
The PDS (short for Portable Decontamination Station) is a Field Upgrade that can create a safe dome of air within the toxic gas for 13 seconds. This allows players to hide within the gas for a short time or make ambitious rotations through the gas!
You can also see the PDS has a new look for when it returns to Warzone. It looks a lot more modern and high-tech compared to the old-fashioned one from Caldera.
In case you missed it, an updated Fortune’s Keep is returning to Warzone in Season 2!
When is the PDS Coming Back to Warzone?
Raven Software has confirmed that the PDS is coming back to Warzone at some point during Season 2. However, it won’t be at the start of the season.
We imagine that this powerful Field Upgrade will return in the Warzone Season 2 Reloaded update, which should arrive in mid-March. This may also be the time that Fortune’s Keep comes back to Warzone.
Stay tuned for more updates about when the PDS will drop in Warzone. We are bound to get a release date for this Field Upgrade very soon!
