Ashley Johnson plays Anna Williams in The Last of Us Season 1. Fans will instantly recognize her as the actor who initially portrayed Ellie in The Last of Us video games.
Johnson has starred in several other high-profile projects, including Infinity Train as Tulip Olsen, Ben 10: Ultimate Alien as Gwen Tennyson, and The Legend of Vox Machina as Pike.
Anna Williams is the mother of Ellie Williams, the protagonist of The Last of Us. She never appeared in the video games but was mentioned in the first game and the comic book, The Last of Us: American Dreams.
Anna was best friends with Marlene, the leader of the Fireflies, and entrusted her with looking after Ellie after her death. Unfortunately, she died a day after giving birth to Ellie.

Merle Dandridge – Marlene
Merle Dandridge plays Marlene in The Last of Us TV Season 1. She’s best known for playing Marlene in The Last of Us video game.
Dandridge is one of the few returning cast members from The Last of Us video games and the only one that reprises their role.
Marlene is the leader of the Fireflies, a rebel faction seeking to free the people from the fascist FEDRA government.
She is also the one who requests Joel to take Ellie to the Fireflies so that they can extract the cure from her and potentially save the world.
