Season 1 episode 8 of The Last of Us TV show cast includes Pedro Pascal as Joel, Bella Ramsey as Ellie, and the introduction of Scott Shepherd as the villainous David.
We also get to finally see Troy Baker as the character James, another villain who acts as David’s righthand man.

Scott Shepherd – David
Scott Shepherd plays David in The Last of Us TV show. He is perhaps best known for his role as John Grey in the film X-Men: Dark Phoenix.
Shepherd has starred in 29 projects altogether, including El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie as Casey, True Detective as Harris James and The Young Pope as Cardinal Dussolier.
David is one of The Last of Us TV’s primary antagonists. Despite seeming calm and kind, he is actually in charge of a cannibalistic colony that wants to hurt Ellie.
Unfortunately for him, his attempts at killing Ellie are foiled as she murders him to protect herself. It is a difficult and confronting moment for her and the last we see of David.

Troy Baker – James
Troy Baker plays James in The Last of Us TV show. Fans will instantly recognize him as the original voice of Joel in The Last of Us 2013 video game.
However, Baker has an illustrious voice acting career outside The Last of Us. He has also starred in Spider-Man: Miles Morale as Simon Krieger, Death Stranding as Higgs Monaghan, and Magni in God of War.
James is David’s righthand man who is rash and quick to resort to violence. Despite David wanting to handle Ellie cautiously and with a modicum of respect, James often suggests killing her immediately.
However, his aggressive attitude and hatred of Ellie quickly turn against him as Ellie slices his throat while trying to escape him and David.
