MW3 and Warzone players are intrigued by the new JAK BFB muzzle attachment, which boasts unparalleled recoil control but has a huge downside!
Every Call of Duty player wants to create the best weapon builds, but it’s far from easy. Weighing up the pros and cons of each attachment to make an effective loadout is always tricky.
This is especially the case for the new JAK BFB muzzle attachment, which eliminates a large portion of your recoil, but puts a target on your back!
What Is the JAK BFB?
The JAK BFB is a very powerful muzzle attachment for guns in MW3 and Warzone.
It decreases your recoil and gun kick much more than any other muzzle, but puts your location on the mini-map like an Advanced UAV would when firing.
|-60% Recoil Gun Kick
|Increased Radar Detection
|– 40% Vertical Recoil
|-11.8% ADS Speed
|-20% Horizontal Recoil
|– 11.6% Movement Speed
|-10.9% Sprint to Fire Speed
When you usually fire an unsuppressed weapon, a red dot appears on the mini-map. However, when you fire a gun with the JAK BFB, a larger dot with an arrow appears on the mini-map, like an Advanced UAV, and stays for around 1 second longer.
Call of Duty YouTuber JGOD compared this to the standard mini-map red dot and believes it is a “decent trade off to remove so much recoil”.
Despite this, the JAK BFB isn’t always worth equipping to your guns in MW3 and Warzone!
Should You Use the JAK BFB in MW3 & Warzone?
Whether you should equip the JAK BFB to your guns in MW3 and Warzone depends on your play style and what weapon you are using. It is a high-risk, high-reward attachment.
However, if you prefer to keep your distance and stay off the radar, then a suppressor will be the better choice, even if your gun will have more recoil.
Overall, the JAK BFB is an attachment that suits very aggressive players who trust their aim and game sense. It will bring more enemies your way, but that won’t be a problem if you trust your ability to win gunfights!
In our opinion, we would still opt for a suppressor in Warzone. However, the JAK BFB is a must-pick for most SMGs, assault rifles, and LMGs in MW3 Multiplayer.
How to Unlock JAK BFB
To unlock the JAK BFB in MW3 and Warzone, you need to unlock it from Sector A21 in the Season 1 Battle Pass – the same sector where you’ll find the new HRM-9 SMG.
To do this, you must complete the challenge Get 10 Operator or Special Zombie hipfire kills with SMGs.
The fastest way to unlock this is by jumping into a multiplayer match on a small map like Shipment, Meat, or Rust – you’ll almost certainly be able to get the 10 SMG hipfire kills in just one game.
Make sure to give the JAK BFB muzzle attachment a go in MW3 and Warzone once you’ve unlocked it. The best way to find out whether it suits your play style is by testing it yourself!
