Hardcore Halo fans have found a major problem with the Ranked Arena mode in Halo Infinite Multiplayer.
Halo has always been a competitive game and the latest game in the series, Halo Infinite is no different. It even has a ranked game mode where the top players can compete against one another at the highest ranks.
However, the Ranked Arena mode in Halo Infinite has been taken over by players using the ‘Doubleshot’ exploit that lets players fire twice as fast.
What’s more, players have found a major issue within the Ranked Arena mode in Halo Infinite and it is costing them wins and, ultimately, their rank.
Halo Infinite Players Can’t Rejoin Or Reconnect in Ranked Arena Matches
Recently, cheaters have overrun Halo Infinite, but there is an even bigger problem in Ranked Arena. This, of course, is not being able to rejoin games.
A new post on the Halo subreddit has revealed what players think is the biggest problem in the ranked arena mode right now. Of course, the issue is that you can’t rejoin a ranked match if you lose connection.
Many players complain that their ranked games often begin with one less player on their team. This is most likely because players have lost connection while matchmaking.
This is a major issue as it puts one team at a huge disadvantage for the whole game. After all, how are you supposed to win a game being a man down?
Therefore, this issue has caused players to ask developer 343 Industries to add a rejoin or reconnect button. This would, hopefully, make unbalanced ranked games less common and, in turn, make the ranked experience in Halo Infinite fairer.
Let’s hope that 343 adds this feature in an upcoming Halo Infinite update. There have already been huge changes to Battle Pass XP and progression, so we know that 343 is listening to fan feedback.
