Terminus Cursed Talisman Easter Egg Gives You Permanent Double Points in Black Ops 6 Zombies

A brand-new Easter Egg on Terminus Island gives Black Ops 6 Zombies players infinite Double Points, making it one of the best secrets the game has to offer.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has only been out for a few days, and already players have uncovered dozens of Easter Eggs inside its new Zombies mode.

Terminus, the game’s first Zombies map, is already home to the likes of a flying UFO Easter Egg, and its Main Quest is full of incredible secrets to discover.

But while you’re surviving on the zombie-infested prison island, there’s a way to permanently receive Double Points for every undead you slay.

How to Get the Cursed Talisman

1. First, head to the Sea Caves and look through this gap where you’ll see a map of the island with one area marked with a red cross.

2. Get into a Tactical Raft at the Docks or any other boat spawn, and head to the marked location on the map.
   • This location will be different in each game.
3. Under the water at this location, you’ll be able to interact with a Legendary-rarity Watch to pick it up.

4. Buy the Melee Macchiato Perk from the Perk-a-Cola machine in the Bio Lab.

5. Then head back to the Sea Caves and melee the wall surrounding the map to break it.

6. Interact (Square/X/F) with the skeleton Captain and he’ll talk to you, marking three new locations on the map of the island.
   • These locations will be the same each game: the Shipwreck, Temple Island, and Castle Rock Island.

7. Before you set out, get your hands on at least three Molotovs.
   • These can be crafted from Salvage at any Crafting Table around the map.
8. Then, travel to each location on the Terminus map and set fire to the skeleton you find at each one. This will cause a Mangler to spawn, which will drop a Cursed Coin when defeated.
   • These skeletons will always be in the same locations, and here’s what you’re looking for:

Shipwreck

The skeleton is found propped up against the ship mast in the middle of the vessel.

Temple Island

The skeleton is waiting on the south side of Temple Island.

Castle Rock Island

The final skeleton is next to the blue generator on Castle Rock Island.

9. Make sure to pick up all of the three Cursed Coins dropped by the Mangler spawns, then return to the Sea Caves.

10. Interact with the Captain again to show him the three Cursed Coins and he’ll reward you with a selection of Legendary-rarity weapons, regardless of what round you’re on! But the hunt is not over…

11. One final location is now marked on the map: Crab Island. Prepare yourself and then head over there and survive for three rounds.
    • Note: We’ve seen some reports that you only need to wait for a Parasite round for this step, however this didn’t work for us. Surviving for three rounds on Crab Island appears to be the only way to complete the Easter Egg.

9. After surviving on Crab Island for three rounds, you’ll find a Treasure Chest waiting for you. Inside is the Cursed Talisman!

Cursed Talisman Explained

The Cursed Talisman item is perhaps the most broken secret that Terminus has to offer, as it grants you a permanent Double Points bonus when equipped.

That means you’ll always be earning twice the amount of Essence, as if you’ve got a Double Points power-up active. And it even stacks with the Double Points power-up itself, leading to quadruple points being available.

However, there’s a significant drawback to using the Cursed Talisman. When you take damage with the item equipped, you’ll actually lose a large chunk of your Essence.

Also, only one player can hold the Cursed Talisman at a time, but you can return to the treasure chest to place it back inside at any point.

Generally, we’d say it’s always worth having a Cursed Talisman in Black Ops 6 Zombies. After all, so long as you’re taking out most undead without receiving damage, you’ll be able to earn an incredible amount of points and reach Pack-a-Punch tier 3 in no time.
