Every player has asked themselves when they’d see more info regarding GTA 6. Players have anxiously awaited the sequel for the critically acclaimed GTA 5 for over a decade.
Rockstar has kept pretty quiet when it comes to GTA 6 and when players could expect to see its release, but it seems that a few hints have surfaced thanks to Take-Two’s latest press release concerning its yearly earnings report.
Here is everything we know about the possible release window of Grand Theft Auto 6.
GTA 6 Release Window Hinted at in Yearly Earnings Report
In a press release attached to their yearly earnings report, Take-Two has hinted at GTA 6 releasing between April 2024 and March 2025 with the 2025 Fiscal Year.
The press release talks about how Take-Two is planning to release a few “groundbreaking titles” that they believe will set a new standard in the industry and achieve over $8 Billion in Net Bookings.
Players already saw a glimpse at GTA 6 due to a recent leak that Rockstar suffered. Because there is already GTA 6 gameplay out there, a release date of 2024 isn’t too far-fetched.
When you consider the IPs that Take-Two owns and which titles can reach these sorts of numbers, then it’s obvious to include GTA 6.
This is why it’s likely that we’ll see Grand Theft Auto 6 released between April 2024 and March 2025 to align with Take-Two’s estimates.
Take-Two also mentions that they hope to carry the momentum of the titles released into Fiscal Year 2026 and beyond. GTA 5 has had an incredible period of success and has generated over $7.7 Billion since its release in 2013.
It is one of Take-Two’s most successful IPs, and it makes sense that they’d release it in a year when they hope to maximize their profits.
They have also reaffirmed that active development for the next Grand Theft Auto title is well underway. Hopefully, we’ll soon see more details about this exciting new title.
