Minecraft's Steve is finally here, but that's not all that's coming in Super Smash Bros Ultimate's update. Here are the full patch notes.
The latest update for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate brings a whole host of new changes to the game. As is often the case with a new fighter's release, the existing cast receives some much-needed buffs and nerfs, to ensure the fighting game is as balanced as possible.
Remarkably, Game Director Masahiro Sakurai and the development team have done rather well in this regard. Despite an incredible number of characters appearing in the game, it's remarkably well balanced.

That said, the developer has seen fit to make a few adjustments here and there. In particular, this patch appears to focus on one main issue.
Characters will flurry attacks have all had a fix applied to their rapid jabs. Now, the likes of Ivysaur, Young Link, Ridley, and more shouldn't have their attack 'neutralized' by other incoming damage.
This likely means that the moves will no longer 'clank' with others, and halt the attack.
Although a range of characters received buffing, we'd say that there were a couple of clear winners in this patch. In fact, in an effort to make Smash's online players very unhappy, the likes of Ness, Sonic, and Simon and Richter Belmont have seen heavy adjustments.
Sonic has gotten faster than ever, living up to his title of the Blue Blur. Ness now hits harder and has gotten somewhat quicker too.
Meanwhile, Simon and Richter do increased launch distance, with minor buffs to power and range.
