Super Nintendo World Opening Has Been Delayed

The grand opening of Super Nintendo World, Japan's brand-new Super Mario inspired amusement park has been delayed amidst a sharp rise in Covid-19 cases.

If you're a fan of Nintendo's Super Mario series you might be disappointed to hear that Super Nintendo World's opening has been delayed.

The update comes after Japan's state of emergency has been extended to cover 11 of its 47 prefectures.

A recent rise in Covid-19 cases has resulted in Osaka declaring a state of emergency.

Sadly, fans will have to wait a while longer to see Super Nintendo World for themselves.

Super Nintendo World Delayed

Super Nintendo World is an exciting prospect for Super Mario fans and Nintendo fans in general.

The amusement park replicates the Mushroom Kingdom and other established locations from the Super Mario games.

The park is filled with a number of Mario inspired attractions and provides a wealth of entertainment for fans.

However, after Japan announced new measures to combat Covid-19, the original opening date of February 4th has now been delayed.

It is as of yet unclear when Universal Studios Japan will announce another opening date.

Super Nintendo World's opening being delayed is certainly frustrating, but also a necessary step that needs to be taken.

I'm sure fans can persevere a while longer and in the mean-time, they can check out the Super Nintendo World Virtual Tour to see the attractions for themselves.
