Starfield Will Run on New Game Engine, Confirms Bethesda

Bethesda has revealed more details about Starfield, including the game engine it is running on.

Bethesda is known for its massive and detailed RPGs. Whether it’s The Elder Scrolls or Fallout, Bethesda has got fantasy and the post-apocalypse covered.

However, the developer’s next game, Starfield, be shaking up the formula. The first new IP from Bethesda in 25 years, Starfield will embrace sci-fi and take players to new planets.

The teaser trailer didn’t reveal much, but it was enough to get many fans very excited for the game. Although, if you want some more details about Starfield, including what game engine it is running on, you’ve come to the right place.

Will Starfield Have A New Game Engine?

The amazingly detailed trailer for Starfield revealed the game’s release date, but not much else. But Bethesda has now confirmed an extremely important part of the game.

Bethesda confirmed that Starfield will run on the brand-new Creation Engine 2, which Bethesda believes will take their RPG games further than ever before.

“We’ve spent years developing it [Creation Engine 2] to power the next generation of immersion and exploration.”

The other huge news that was revealed at the Xbox & Bethesda E3 conference was that Starfield will be exclusive to Xbox and PC.

Also, the gameplay trailer for Forza Horizon 5 revealed the game’s setting. It could be the best-looking game of all time!
