Skill magazines, to skill books are very rare collectible items in Starfield that are scattered across the galaxy, and picking them up will give you a helpful in-game bonus. These bonuses range from increased carrying capacity to dealing additional damage with a certain type of weapon.

As soon as you pick up a skill magazine, you get that book’s bonus applied forever, even if you drop or sell the magazine. Therefore, you’ll want to pick up as many of them as you can!
