Star Wars Jedi Survivor Standard vs Deluxe Edition: Is It Worth the Upgrade?

There are two versions of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor to pick between, but is the Deluxe Edition worth the extra cash?

Jedi Survivor Standard Edition

Price: $69.99 ($62.99 for EA Play Members)

The Standard Edition of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor contains only the base game itself.

Those who pre-order the game prior to Jedi: Survivor’s official release date will also get their hands on the Jedi Survival Cosmetic Pack, inspired by Obi-Wan Kenobi.

This includes:

• ‘Hermit’ Outfit Cosmetic
• ‘Combustion’ Blaster
• ‘Hermit’ Lightsaber

Incidentally, there could be a pretty good reason why Obi-Wan cosmetics are featured as a pre-order bonus.

Jedi Survivor Deluxe Edition

Price: $89.99 ($80.99 for EA Play Members)

The Deluxe Edition of Star Wars: Jedi Survivor contains the base game as well as a few additional in-game bonuses:

• New Hero Cosmetic Pack (Inspired by Han Solo)
  • ‘Scoundrel’ Cosmetic
  • ‘Rugged’ BD-1 Cosmetic
  • ‘DL-44’ Blaster Set

• Galactic Cosmetic Pack (Inspired by Luke Skywalker)
  • ‘Rebel Hero’ Cosmetic
  • ‘BD Astro’ BD-1 Cosmetic
  • ‘Rebel Hero’ Lightsaber

These two cosmetic packs are exclusive to the Deluxe Edition of Jedi: Survivor and cannot be obtained in-game by any other means.

In addition those who pre-order Jedi: Survivor prior to its release will also get their hands on the Jedi Survival Cosmetic Pack, inspired by Obi-Wan Kenobi.

Star Wars Jedi Survivor Editions Comparison

For an extra $20, Deluxe Edition owners get access to two stylish cosmetic packs inspired by some of the galaxy’s greatest heroes.

But we wouldn’t say it’s worth the extra cost for all but the most hardcore of Star Wars fans.

Is There a Jedi: Survivor Collector’s Edition?

Yes, there is a Collector’s Edition of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor distributed by Limited Run Games. Unfortunately, only 8,500 Collector’s Editions were manufactured and they are all sold out.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor’s Collector’s Edition costs a whopping $299.99.

Getting your hands on Cal Kestis’ lightsaber is certainly a major incentive for Star Wars fans, as is the extremely limited release. But unfortunately, no more Collector’s Editions are likely to be produced.
