Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Senator Sejan Choice – Trust or Reward

Trust or reward?

At the beginning of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, players have to choose whether to get Senator Sejan to trust them or manipulate him with a reward.

While some players may pick one option and run with it, others may want to know what happens when you pick both.

Should You Pick Trust or Reward With Senator Sejan?

It does not matter whether or not you pick Trust or Reward. Aside from a slight change in dialogue, Senator Sejan will give you the code anyway.

Essentially, there is no wrong answer regarding the choice with Senator Sejan as both choices lead to the same outcome. So pick whichever you feel is best in terms of roleplay.

It’s not worth restarting your save just to experience the other option, especially considering how long Star Wars Jedi: Survivor takes to beat.

Of course, there is a dialogue difference depending on which one you choose. Here is what happens if you pick Trust and Reward:

  • Reward: Senator Sejan says, “I’ll be rewarded… I will unlock the terminal.”
  • Trust: Senator Sejan says, “We’re all friends here. I can trust you. I will unlock the terminal.”

What Happens If You Don’t Pick Trust or Reward Star Wars Jedi: Survivor?

If you don’t pick either Trust or Reward when using your Jedi mind tricks against Senator Sejan and let the blue circle close, then the game will automatically pick Trust.

It doesn’t make you lose or force you to start again. There’s no secret third option or a fail state where the Senator fights back.

Instead, the game automatically progresses you by selecting one of the two options. However, because either option leads to the same result, it doesn’t matter.
