Eagle-eyed fans may have noticed that Cal Kestis appears to be partnering up with new faces in the latest trailers, but is Star Wars Jedi: Survivor a multiplayer game?
Jedi: Fallen Order was an entirely single-player release, but can players pair up anywhere in the sequel?
Does Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Have Co-Op or Multiplayer?
No, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor does not have co-op or multiplayer gameplay of any kind. EA confirms that like Fallen Order, the first game in the series, Jedi: Survivor is an entirely single-player experience.
The official Star Wars Jedi: Survivor website describes the game as a “narratively-driven, single player title,” with no mentions of multiplayer in sight.
And, as cool as it would be to experience the story with a friend, we’re glad to see that Respawn Entertainment is sticking to a purely single player experience with Cal Kestis’ latest adventure.

After all, it was EA’s departure from focusing on multiplayer experiences that helped make Fallen Order one of the biggest surprise hits of the last few years.
But although no other players will be joining the fight against the Empire, it does look like the young Jedi will have some additional help this time around.
AI Companions in Jedi Survivor
In this clip from the Star Wars Jedi: Survivor story trailer, Cal fights alongside various allies.
What’s more, it appears that players will even be able to combo enemies and even execute finishing movies alongside Bode Akuna, Nightsister Merrin, and other companions.
Each of these allies will be entirely computer-controlled, but it’s still nice to see that Cal Kestis has some back-up this time.
