If you find yourself to be a little tired in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you can craft Elixirs and meals to restore or temporarily increase your Stamina.
Fortunately, we’ve compiled the very best Stamina boosting recipes in TOTK for you to craft and use to aid in your adventures. Below, we detail everything there is to know about Stamina Elixirs and meals!
How to Make Energizing Elixir in TOTK
The Energizing Elixir will restore a portion of your Stamina Wheel. To make the Energizing Elixir, you will need to hold the following ingredients and place them in a cooking pot:
- 1 x Energetic Rhino Beetle(s) or Restless Cricket(s)
- For the best results, use 4 Restless Crickets or Energetic Rhino Beetles. The more crickets or beetles, the more Stamina the Elixir will restore.
- 1 x Monster Part

Any Monster Part will work for this recipe, so make sure to use something you have in great supply, such as a Bokoblin Horn.
You will find Energetic Rhino Beetles on the Great Sky Island and West Necluda.
Restless Crickets can be found predominantly by chopping tall grass on the Great Sky Island or Hyrule Field.
How to Make Enduring Elixir in TOTK
The Enduring Elixir will restore your Hearts and gives you a temporary Stamina Wheel. To make the Enduring Elixir, you will need to get the following ingredients and place them in a cooking pot:
- 1x Tireless Frog
- For the best results, use 4 Tireless Frogs and 1 Monster Part. The more Tireless Frogs you put into the recipe, the more temporary Stamina you will gain.
- 1x Monster Part

Like the Energizing Elixir, you can use any Monster Part for this recipe. Make sure to use up Monster Parts with little to no value.
Tireless Frogs can be located in Hyrule Field and the Zora River regions. However, the easiest way to get your hands on them is by purchasing them from Beedle in Stables for 100 Rupees each.
Best Stamina Food Recipes in TOTK
The best meal for restoring your Stamina in TOTK is the Energizing Fish Skewer, which restores three full Stamina Wheels and six Hearts. Here are the ingredients:
- 3 x Staminoka Bass
You can use more Staminoka Bass if you want to, but cooking three together will restore more than enough Stamina in one go.
You can find Staminoka Bass in the lakes and rivers in Hyrule Field and West Necluda. They’re quite rare and hard to catch, so consider throwing a Yellow Chuchu Jelly into the water to electrify them.

An alternate meal you can make is the Enduring Fried Wild Greens. This gives you two temporary Stamina Wheels on top of your base Stamina Wheels and restores 20 Hearts.
The ingredients are:
- 5x Endura Carrot
You can use fewer Endura Carrots if you want, but you’ll get less temporary Stamina than if you cook all five.
Endura Carrots can be located in East Necluda and Hyrule Ridge. However, there is a fast way to locate five Endura Carrots in one go.
