Nintendo is banning players for using a new Splatoon 3 money farming method, which is against their Terms of Service.
Cash is essential in Splatoon 3, as it can be used to purchase various items. Whether that’s gear or items to customize your locker in Splatoon 3, you need Cash to make sure you’re always in style.
Most players will simply play some matches to get their Cash up, but some will find exploits to take advantage of.
That’s where a recent money farming method for Splatoon 3 has come into play. However, Nintendo isn’t holding back the ban hammer right now.
Nintendo Permanently Banning Players for Splatoon 3 Money Exploit
A recent money exploit that involves the REEF-LUX 450 Stringer and some matchmaking tricks in Turf War is causing many players to be permanently banned from playing Splatoon 3.
It’s unclear how many players have participated in this money farming method, but it is against Nintendo’s Terms of Service for Splatoon 3.
Nintendo classifies this exploit as an “Act of a group of people conspiring together to obtain significant scores, points, or rewards in an illegal manner.”
Not only will using this money farming exploit put you on Nintendo’s radar, but it can also cause other unforeseen issues. For example, your matchmaking will be affected due to your high score, putting you in unbalanced matches.
It’s also extremely easy for Nintendo to detect this exploit, as they will look to any players with extremely high scores.
What Is the New Money Farming Exploit in Splatoon 3?
This money farming method in Splatoon 3 is this:
- Players must have the REEF-LUX 450 Stringer
- They’ll co-ordinate two pre-made teams for matchmaking in Turf War
- In the match, they’ll meet in the middle of the stage and continuously paint over each team’s ink, bringing their score to 4000 points+
- It’s possible to earn over 10000 Cash per match with this exploit
The REEF-LUX 450 is a great Stringer in Splatoon 3, thanks to the amount of paint you can shoot. In fact, you can easily get around 1500 points on a standard Turf War match.
With this method, players can see upwards of 4000 points in a single match. This converts to high amounts of Cash but also puts you in a higher skill bracket.
Some players are even using food and drink tickets in Splatoon 3 to further boost their gain from this exploit.
