Splatoon 3: How to Get and Use Food & Drink Tickets

To get additional bonuses in Splatoon 3, you’ll need to be able to purchase some food and drink using tickets, but how do you get them?

Playing Turf War, Rainmaker, or other Splatoon 3 battles looks tiring, and your Inkling or Octoling will sometimes need a refreshment. But the main focus is the extra XP or bonuses you get from buying food or drink.

However, you can’t spend Catalog Points on these bonuses outright. Instead, you’ll need food or drink tickets, but it isn’t clear how to get these.

Level Up Your Catalog

Unlocking the Catalog at Level 4 not only gives you some awesome items for your locker, but you can also get some food or drink tickets too.

You can level up your Catalog by participating in matches online or by playing Salmon Run.

The Catalog is replaced every three months, providing new seasonal content, so what level you’ll get food and drink tickets at may change with each Catalog.

The Catalog has some other exciting gear, but the best items can be found exclusively on the Splatoon SplatNet store.

Earn Capsules in Salmon Run

Completing games of Salmon Run will net you some rewards, primarily Capsules. And some Capsules contain food or drink tickets.

For example, opening a Purple Capsule will net you a drink ticket, whereas a Red Capsule will get you a food ticket.

You can open your Capsules in the Grizzco lobby. Simply press “X” to open your map, head to Grizzco, and go to the window next to Mr. Grizz, and press “A”.

Get a Lucky Pull from the Shell-Out Machine

Every day, you can get one spin for 5000 Catalog Points from the Shell-Out machine. And if you’re lucky, one of those spins will net you food or drink tickets to spend at Crab-N-Go.

However, after your first spin of each day, it will cost you 30,000 Catalog Points. That’s pretty expensive, but if you have the extra points, this is your most lucrative method to earn tickets.

Reports indicate that players can unlock Food & Drink Tickets by completing Stages in Hero Mode. We cannot confirm this ourselves but will update when we have further confirmation.

Using some of these tickets will help you level up, but you should find out other ways to level up quickly in Splatoon 3!

These foods and drinks will give you additional bonuses for the matches you play, such as double XP. It’s worth spending them if you think you’ll be playing a few matches in one sitting.
