In the past, PlayStation has been fairly unwilling to make its titles exclusive to PS5. Even the new God of War title is coming to both PS4 and PS5 consoles.

And speaking of Kratos’ newest adventure, check out this new trailer for God of War Ragnarok.

Will Wolverine and Spider-Man 2 Come to PS4?

In a new statement by Insomniac Games, the developer confirms that Wolverine and Spider-Man 2 will be PS5 exclusive titles.

It looks like Sony is finally ready to commit to next-gen, as both Spider-Man 2 and Wolverine will only arrive on PS5 consoles. Of course, this shouldn’t leave behind too many players, considering that the games won’t release anytime soon.

“We’re so thrilled to continue the journey of both Peter Parker and Miles Morales in their most epic single-player adventure yet, coming exclusively to PlayStation 5 consoles in 2023,” Insomiac Games writes.

It looks as though the PS5 stock shortage will be over by 2023, which should mean that every gamer who wants one can get hold of a next-gen device.

And where Wolverine is concerned, we don’t even know the upcoming title’s release date yet. Insomniac states that Wolverine is currently ‘very early in development’, so we wouldn’t expect it to launch before 2024 at earliest.

Thankfully, we’ll have plenty to keep us occupied in the meantime! Yesterday, we did get news about a delay to GTA 5 Expanded & Enhanced but it’s still launching soon.

In the past, Insomniac has claimed that it was only “scratching the surface” of the PS5’s power. We can’t wait to see what the team can do after a few years of development time!

Meanwhile, we have a new Spider-Man 2 leak including Symbiote details, villains, and more!
