The PS5 release dates are the 12th and 19th of November, now just a matter of weeks away. Industry pundits are now receiving PS5 review units, so they can inspect the console and tell consumers what they think.
So far, only Japanese YouTubers have been given a look at the PS5. Making them the only group of people outside of Sony to get their hands on one.
But now, other industry experts and insiders are being sent their own PS5 review units. So it will only be a matter of time until we know everything there is to know about Sony’s new console.
We also expect western YouTubers to get their own chance to check out the console in due time. But it makes the most sense for the official industry publications to get the first refusal.
Why Expert Reviews Are Important
The PS5 will probably be our constant companion for the next 7-8 years, so it’s only natural for fans to want to know what the experts think. Many pundits are professional reviewers whose opinions are qualified and carry weight in the gaming world.
According to a recent Tweet from Jeff Bakalar, the editor for CNET, they now have their own PS5 review unit. Meaning we can expect their verdict in the next few days.
CNET is an authority when it comes to electronics and technology, so we look forward to hearing their thoughts on the PS5.
Of course, if CNET has a PS5 review unit, then other publications and websites will likely have one too. Sony will have sent out lots of units to trusted reviewers.
This means we can look forward to a plethora of reviews over the next few days. The PS5 is getting more and more real with every coming day.
