Achieving a nuke in Warzone 2 is one of the hardest accomplishments in the game, but can you nuke Al Mazrah playing solo?
Warzone 2 was released back in November, and even before its release, rumors of the possibility of getting a nuke were circulating.
Since then, players have discovered how to activate the nuke contract and it is one of the most challenging objectives in Warzone 2.

Can You Get a Solo Nuke in Warzone 2?
Yes, you can get the “Champions Quest” nuke contract playing in Warzone 2 Solos. The objective to complete this contract remains the same no matter the number of players on your team.
However, in Solos, you will need to complete each step on your own. This makes completing it on your own much harder.
Warzone 2 content creator ShuKzNorris was the first Solo player to detonate a nuke. He achieved this feat back at the beginning of December 2022, proving a nuke in Solos is possible.
Being the first person to nuke Al Mazrah on their own, means ShuKzNorris joins the list of Warzone 2 Nuke Records.
How to Get a Solo Nuke in Warzone 2
To get a nuke in Warzone 2 Solos, you will first need to be on a five-game winning streak. You can get this streak by playing Solos, Duos, Trios, or Quads.
However, in the sixth match, you will need to be playing in Solos. Once you have entered the sixth game, here is what you will need to do:
- Pick the Champions Quest Contract
- This will be marked by three crowns on your map with the initial WZ, you will only need to pick up one

- Locate all three nuke elements
- These elements will spawn one by one and their location will be shown in a yellow circle that shrinks the closer you get to it
- BE – Will live ping you to everyone in the game with a large crown whilst holding
- PU – Will constantly damage your health and armor when holding
- T – Will scramble your radar whilst holding
- These elements will spawn one by one and their location will be shown in a yellow circle that shrinks the closer you get to it

- Wait for the nuke bomb site to appear
- A nuke symbol will reveal the location in the 4th Safe Zone

- Arm the nuke
- Place each element into the bomb canister to reveal a laptop
- Interact with the laptop to start arming the nuke

- Defend the nuke from being defused
- You will need to defend the bomb site for 2 minutes as the nuke can be defused
A good tip for going for the Solo nuke is to drop the BE element into the center of the zone. This way, you will not have the constant live ping.
