One of the most exciting new additions to DMZ in Warzone 2 Season 3 is the Skeleton Key which will completely change how players approach looting.
Throughout both Al Mazrah and Ashika Island DMZ, players can find various locks that require specific keys to access.
To unlock them, players would need to plan their run carefully and find the right key. But now another option has arrived.
How to Get Skeleton Key in DMZ
The only way to get a Skeleton Key is to find a Buy Station and use the Barter System to craft one using 1 GPU.
The Skeleton Key will have unlimited uses, but you will lose it if you fail to extract it during your DMZ match.
Once you have crafted a Skeleton Key, you’ll need to make your way to a locked door to use it:
GPUs are incredibly difficult to find due to their high value. Players can use them to craft the Skeleton Key or sell them at the Buy Station for $16,000.
That is enough cash to change all the attachments on your Contraband Weapon using the DMZ Workbench.
What Does the Skeleton Key Unlock?
The Skeleton Key in DMZ unlocks nearly every lock in Building 21, Ashika Island, and Al Mazrah. The only exception is the Access Key which players will need to gain access to Building 21.
But players can use the Skeleton Key in Building 21 to open any door that requires a Keycard or Key.
Where to Find GPU
Players can craft a GPU in a Buy Station using the Barter system to trade in 2 Gold Bars and 5 Thumb Drives.
A GPU can also be found inside computers in any POI with plenty of offices, including the Police Headquarters, the Post Office, the Museum District, and the C7 media buildings.
Head to Al Mazrah City and explore the locations shown below. At least one of them will lead you to a GPU.
LaserBolt also found a location on the western side of Al Mazrah in the Chemical Storage Warehouse, which supposedly has a 90% guaranteed rate of spawning a GPU.
The GPU is a very rare item in Warzone 2 DMZ and has a worth of $16,000. It wouldn’t be surprising if you needed a few matches to get your hands on it.
Thankfully, it is worth the wait because once you obtain the Skeleton Key, you’ll have a key to any locked area on the map.
