Whether you should choose Team Ruby or Team Sapphire in Pokemon GO after finishing the Primal Rumblings Timed Research depends on which Pokemon you want to catch.
Each team has wild Pokemon spawns that are exclusive to Ruby or Sapphire. Players on Team Ruby can encounter specific red Pokemon, while Team Sapphire can find wild blue Pokemon!
Luckily, no matter which of these options you choose, you will be able to get both of the new Primal Pokemon. That’s right – everyone can get Primal Groudon and Primal Kyogre in Pokemon GO!
Below, we’ve included all of the Pokemon encounters and bonuses for both Team Ruby and Team Sapphire, so you can easily choose which team to pick.
Of course, to even get this choice in the first place, you will need to know how to complete all of the tasks in the Pokemon GO Primal Rumblings Timed Research first!
Pokemon GO Team Ruby Wild Pokemon & Snapshot Bonus
Pokemon GO players who choose Team Ruby will be able to encounter the following wild Pokemon:

If Team Ruby completes more Field Research Tasks than Team Sapphire in an hour during the Pokemon GO Tour: Hoenn event, there will be a surge of Primal Groudon Raids!
