Call of Duty MW3 is already getting the fan-favorite map Shipment, which will arrive this week, ahead of Season 1.
It seems that Christmas is coming early to all those COD fans who just can’t get enough of Shipment. The iconic map, which first debuted in the original Modern Warfare, is now back once again in the rebooted MW3.
The smallest map to ever feature in COD multiplayer, Shipment is a chaotic close-quarters map that has been returning year after year. And now, the arena is arriving before even Season 1.
Shipment Release Date Revealed
Shipment is confirmed to release on November 30, 2023, thanks to a new post on X by Call of Duty.
But what’s interesting, is that the map will be dropping ahead of Season 1’s official release date in early December.
What Is Rustment?
Rustment 24/7 is a 6v6 playlist comprising of only Rust and Shipment, allowing players to dive into the chaos of MW3’s two smallest maps.
It’s sure to be a popular playlist, as close-quarters action is perfect for those looking to level up weapons.
Strangely enough, the official Call of Duty social media has yet to acknowledge Shipment’s return, nor has it appeared in any blog posts.
However, Sledgehammer Games recently confirmed Shipment’s return on Reddit – and now its appearance in the upcoming MW3 playlist has revealed that it’s coming sooner than anticipated!
It shouldn’t surprise fans that Shipment will appear as it did in MW2, presumably with no changes. This was confirmed from the playlist’s info screen, which shows the map in its most recent appearance.
No doubt, those who want to focus on grinding for camos or leveling up guns will be spending a lot of time among the shipping containers later this week.
