The Spider-Man 2 Limited Edition PS5 console peripherals went on sale earlier today, but unfortunately, they sold out within minutes.

Now, the only way to purchase them is through scalpers who are reselling the items for up to 3x their original price.

This isn’t too surprising because it seems that any time limited-edition console accessories release, they sell out and appear on eBay for prices way above retail.

It’s an unfortunate practice, but one that players will need to use if they still wish to get their hands on the Limited-Edition Spider-Man 2 PS5 Console Plates.

Scalpers have begun to resell the Spider-Man 2 PS5 Console Plates for up to $200 on eBay. This is up to 3x the retail price of $64.99 that the cover originally sold for.

Unfortunately, this is currently the only way to purchase a PS5 Spider-Man 2 Limited Edition Cover Plate if you weren’t able to get one for retail.

The prices on eBay range from $120 to $200, and each price point sells on very short notice. This isn’t surprising since Spider-Man 2 is one of the most anticipated games in 2023.

The release itself is just a pre-order since the cover plates won’t officially hit stores until September 1st, 2023. There is a chance that PlayStation will restock this product at least a few more times before they begin to ship out pre-orders.

However, the PS5 console itself and the limited-edition PS5 Dualsense controller are still available for pre-order at this moment.
