What Is Quidditch in Harry Potter?
For those unaware, Quidditch is the major sport of the Wizarding World, that takes place entirely on broomsticks. Chasers must throw the Quaffle, a large round ball, through one of three rings on the opposing team’s side to score.
Meanwhile, they need to watch out for the Bludger, an aggressive ball that is directed at the enemy team by one of two Beaters.
And finally, each team also has a Seeker, a speedy player who is tasked with tracking down and catching the Golden Snitch, a tiny winged ball that when captured, ends the game.
But as popular as the sport is in the Wizarding World, it seems its inclusion wasn’t integral to the development of Hogwarts Legacy.

Is There Quidditch in Hogwarts Legacy?
Unfortunately, no, Quidditch is confirmed to not be playable in Hogwarts Legacy. Although the Quidditch pitch will likely be explorable as part of the castle grounds, players shouldn’t expect to be able to join their house Quidditch team.
“Quidditch is not playable in Hogwarts Legacy,” the game’s FAQs read. “However, broom flight for traversal and broom race challenges are part of the game. Players can also fly brooms to explore new and familiar locations surrounding Hogwarts Castle.”
We’re sure that many fans will be disappointed with Quidditch being missing from what is otherwise our dream Harry Potter game.
However, perhaps this feature can make an appearance in the title’s sequel, assuming Hogwarts Legacy is the success we anticipate it being.
