Nuketown is finally back in Black Ops Cold War, and the much-loved RC-XD secret track is still very much active.
In the very first Nuketown, back in Call of Duty: Black Ops, players discovered a secret track for the RC-XD killstreak. This track allows users to drive their explosive vehicle around to the enemy spawn before detonating.
It's one of the things that made Nuketown so appealing to players and why it's so well-loved to this day. Thankfully, Nuketown '84 is such a faithful recreation of the original test site that the track makes a long-awaited return.
How to Use the RC-XD Easter Egg in Cold War's Nuketown '84
To use the secret RC-XD track in Nuketown '84, you must first earn the Scorestreak for 800 score. Bear in mind that the cooldown period on the explosive vehicle is 90 seconds too, so it's not possible to earn an RC-XD again right away after using one.
Head into the back garden of one of Nuketown '84s houses, where you first spawn in. Then take a look for one of the large holes in the fences near the back of the yard.
Drive your RC-XD through the hole and follow the track along. When it starts to ramp upwards, make use of your boost to clear the gap successfully.
You'll come down on the other side of the map, and there's a handy hole to head through in the opposing fence. Drive into the enemy spawn and enjoy an easy kill or two.
Reddit user Mundoschristmas shows off the new track in a recent post to the Black Ops Cold War subreddit.
Recently, reports indicate that Black Ops Cold War could be bricking Xbox Series X consoles. With that in mind, definitely pay attention if your console is crashing a lot.
As much as you'd probably like to take advantage of the 2XP time limit, it's better to be low-rank than to have a dead Xbox.
