The Purrloin Spotlight Hour in Pokemon GO will take place on October 4, 2022, from 6 PM – 7 PM local time.
For the 60 minutes this event lasts, there will be loads of Purrloin spawning in the wild. Therefore, it’s the perfect opportunity to find a perfect version of the Pokemon.

Can You Catch Shiny Purrloin in Pokemon GO?
No, you can’t catch shiny Purrloin in Pokemon GO. This is because the shiny version has not been released into the game yet.
As Niantic has already added shiny versions of many Gen 5 Pokemon before, we expect a shiny Purrloin to arrive in the game pretty soon. This should either be nearer the end of 2022 or in 2023.
