PS5 Restock: GameStop, PS Direct, Walmart, Best Buy & More Expected to Drop This Week – October 18-24

The PS5 restock wave may be picking up again this week – here’s how to get your hands on a drop between October 18-24.

We’re halfway through October and it’s clearly a rough time for those looking to get their hands on a next-gen console. But if you’re still desperate for that PS5, you do have options to look at this week.

Recently, we found out why PS5 restocks are delayed in October 2021, and when they’ll be back. But on top of that, we found out new ways to get hold of the next-gen device.

PlayStation is now letting fans register for a PS Direct restock and get a PS5! This is sure to help gamers find their console without too much effort.

But if you’re not a fan of waiting, we’ve got more news about PS5 restock drops coming this week – October 18-24.

Here are all of last week’s PS5 restocks

All PS5 Restocks – October 18-24

GameStop PS5 Restock

GameStop PS5 Restock Bundles Expected Soon - October 2021

GameStop PS5 Restock Date: October 19 (Online) & 22 (In-Store)

It seems that GameStop will have another PS5 restock this coming week, on October 19 and 22. You’ll need to be a PowerUp Rewards Pro member to take advantage of the offer, and we’ve got tips to help you secure the upcoming drop!

These two GameStop PS5 bundles should be going live very soon, but it’s not all good news.

Recently, GameStop has been canceling next-gen console orders.

And with many people disappointed at the recent Xbox drops on the site, let’s hope that GameStop has its act together this time around.

PlayStation Direct PS5 Restock

PlayStation Direct PS5 Restock

PlayStation Direct PS5 Restock Date: This Week (Rumored)

It’s actually been a couple of weeks since our last PlayStation Direct restock, and for good reason. As we mentioned above, PlayStation is now letting fans register for a PS Direct restock and get a PS5 this holiday season.

Perhaps this means that Sony’s upcoming drop is going to be a large one, and that would explain the recent drought.

But we recommend making sure you’re eligible for a PS5 restock here, and being patient with the publisher. It seems that this might be one of the best chances to nab a PS5 this winter.

Walmart PS5 Restock

Walmart PS5 Restock

Walmart PS5 Restock Date: This Week (Rumored)

Although Walmart just had one of the largest next-gen console restocks of 2021, supply isn’t ending anytime soon. After a couple of weeks off from PS5 drops, it’s about time for Walmart to restock Sony’s device.

New reports indicate that Walmart is currently hoarding PS5 consoles despite many buyers still waiting for their orders to dispatch.

After all, Walmart is known for selling consoles it doesn’t have yet, and customers often wait weeks for their console to ship. However, with PS5s being hard to come by, placing yourself on a Walmart waiting list isn’t the worst thing these days.

Best Buy PS5 Restock

PS5 Restock Best Buy

Best Buy PS5 Restock Date: This Week (Rumored)

This major retailer just upset fans by locking new PS5 and Xbox drops behind a huge paywall. If you want to get your hands on a next-gen console, you’ll need to shell out $200 for a TotalTech membership.

However, with Best Buy offering the membership for free with certain purchases, it’s possible that buyers will already have access. If so, we expect that Best Buy may have another PS5 restock coming this week in order to drive membership sales.

It should be fairly easy to secure the console if you’re a member, after all. But it’s never worth paying $200 just for a shot at a PS5.

Antonline PS5 Restock

PS5 at AntOnline

Antonline PS5 Restock Date: This Week (Rumored)

Although Antonline went live with a PS5 restock last week, we think that another one could be right around the corner. After all, the most recent drop was a PS5 Digital bundle, as its Disc counterpart could be following this week.

Bear in mind that Antonline always sells consoles in bundles, meaning you’ll pay a little more for the next-gen device, but scalpers are less of an issue.

Thankfully, Antonline is at least a relatively easy store to buy from, so long as you get there first.

Amazon PS5 Restock

PS5 at Amazon

Amazon PS5 Restock Date: This Week (Rumored)

It’s fair to say that Amazon is the most unpredictable retailer when it comes to next-gen restocks. And while it seems that an Amazon PS5 restock could be imminent, it’s also hard to predict exactly when it’ll arrive.

The good thing to note is that our most recent Amazon PS5 restock was announced in advance. Hopefully, this means that we won’t get blindsided if the online store decides to go live again this week.

Target PS5 Restock

Target PS5 Restock

Target PS5 Restock Date: Unlikely This Week

Last week we got the Target restock we were expecting. But with it being a limited drop that came earlier than usual, we don’t predict another one anytime soon.

And after the most recent drop, reports indicate that some Target PS5 orders are being canceled as the retailer oversold its stock. Because of that, we expect Target will be waiting a while before going live once more.

Interestingly, Target is now doing in-store restocks for next-gen consoles, although the PS5 is currently excluded. We may well see this retailer become available for walk-in purchases of Sony’s new console very soon!

That’s all we know about the PS5 restock wave between October 18-24 right now. However, we’ll update this article as the week progresses and we learn more about what’s to come!

Take a look at when the PS5 was last in-stock for all retailers here.

And this black PS5 faceplate seller is being taken down by Sony, disappointing fans everywhere. It’s still not possible to get that black PS5 we’ve been dreaming about, but perhaps that’ll change with the PS5 Pro!

Finally, this retailer is combatting PS5 scalpers with radical measures. We hope to see more stores take this kind of initiative in the future, rather than locking purchases behind a paywall.
