PS5 Restock: GameStop, Best Buy, Antonline, Target & More Expected to Drop This Week – July 26-August 1

It’s another week for those waiting on a PS5 restock – here are the retailers to watch from July 26-August 1.

This week we’re finally at the end of July and it’s been a big month for PS5 restocks! We’ve had every major retailer dropping consoles over the last few weeks, and we’re hoping to send July off with a bang!

Last week, we finally got our first trailer for the Ghost of Tsushima Iki Island expansion. And PlayStation is even giving away 6 months of free Apple TV+ for PS5 owners – as if you needed another incentive to get your hands on the console.

Perhaps most excitingly, we’ve seen our first confirmation of a PS5 redesign coming soon!

With another week of restocks ahead of us, it’s no wonder that Sony believes PS5 stock issues are coming to an end soon!

Find all of last week’s PS5 restocks here!

Without further delay, here’s where to find a PS5 restock in the week running July 26-August 1.

Make sure to check our PS5 Stock Trackers for lightning-fast updates when new consoles go live:

GameStop PS5 Restock

PS5 at GameStop

GameStop PS5 Restock Date: July 27 (Rumored)

Recently, GameStop has been quickly becoming one of the most reliable PS5 restockers of all time. However, it’s the company’s PowerUp Rewards Pro members that have the best chance at a next-gen console when drops go live.

What’s also excellent is that GameStop always gives us at least a few hours’ notice before dropping stock. It’s likely worth your time signing up for the subscription service, however, non-members also get a shot at buying a console.

Matt Swider reports that GameStop will be dropping PS5 consoles on July 27 – and the restock tracker is usually right about these things!

However, don’t forget that PS5 consoles are also coming to GameStop in-store soon, according to rumors.

As one final note, LordOfRestocks on Twitter reports that using Apple Pay at GameStop will lead to the easiest possible checkout of a PS5. Be sure to set it up early for the best results!

Best Buy PS5 Restock

PS5 at Best Buy

Best Buy PS5 Restock Date: July 27-29 (Rumored)

It’s been 2 big weeks for Best Buy, with both Disc and Digital PS5s available last time around. Best Buy is fast becoming one of our top spots to find a next-gen console, but we’re also conscious that it could be time for the company to take a week off.

Traditionally, Best Buy goes live on Thursdays, however, it occasionally surprises us with a Tuesday release. Keep your eyes on our stock trackers and never miss a drop when a PS5 goes live.

Antonline PS5 Restock

PS5 at AntOnline

Antonline PS5 Restock Date: Early This Week (Rumored)

When it comes to PS5 restocks, Antonline is one of the most consistent online retailers out there. Although the store isn’t on everyone’s radar, it almost always has new consoles in stock each week.

That said, Antonline was a rare miss this time around. With that in mind, we’re almost certain that the online store will have new consoles dropping this week.

Bear in mind, Antonline always sells PS5s in bundles, meaning that you’ll be paying a higher price for the console. However, it’s been known to be one of the easiest stores to buy from – you just have to get there first.

Target PS5 Restock

PS5 Target In-Store Restock

Target PS5 Restock Date: July 28-29 (Rumored)

We did get the Target PS5 restock we were expecting last week, which leads us to believe that the next one should be dropping at the beginning of August. However, Target occasionally manages to have enough stock for back-to-back restocks.

What’s more, it looks as though PS5 stock is being sold in-store at Target too!

PlayStation Direct PS5 Restock

PS5 restock

PlayStation Direct PS5 Restock Date: This Week (Rumored)

Last week, PlayStation Direct finally had a restock after 3 weeks of silence from the online store. This time around, we had a major drop, with both Disc and Digital PS5 consoles going live on July 20.

Could we see a second restock coming this week? It’s certainly possible that Sony has been saving up its stock for a strong end to the month.

Only time will tell, so watch your emails for that invite. And bear in mind, you’re still able to get your hands on a console without an invitation too, it’s just notably more difficult!

Walmart PS5 Restock

PS5 at Walmart

Walmart PS5 Restock Date: July 29 (Rumored)

Again, Walmart finally dropped new PS5 stock after 3 weeks of nothing last week. The store is usually fairly slow when it comes to delivering PS5 orders, but it’s been getting better in recent history.

It’s entirely possible that Walmart may go live with a second round of stock this week, but it’s far from one of the most likely locations to find a PS5.

That said, it looks as though Walmart has PS5 stock arriving for in-store pickup lately! If you’ve got a local store, it might be worth taking a venture to see if there are any consoles in stock right now.

We recommend taking care when buying online from this store anyway, as scalpers are currently selling PS5s on Walmart’s website for huge prices!

Amazon PS5 Restock

PS5 at Amazon

Amazon PS5 Restock Date: Unlikely This Week

When it comes to online retailers, the hardest one to predict is Amazon. The site finally went live with new PS5 stock this week, and our last restock before that was Amazon Prime Day.

Could the store be moving to a once-a-month schedule? We’ll have to wait and find out as it’s likely that the company’s thousands of extra PS5 consoles are finally sold!

That’s all we know about the PS5 restock wave from July 26-August 1 right now, but be sure to stay tuned for updated information as it arrives.

If you’re a PlayStation fan, be sure to sign up for the new Tom Clancy’s XDefiant beta here! The upcoming shooter could be one of the biggest next-gen games when it drops very soon.

And, speaking of next-gen shooters, this mind-blowing new Battlefield 2042 Portal mode is turning more than a few heads. It’s every content creator’s dream, and it’s also got a beta this September.

Meanwhile, it looks like our next PlayStation State of Play is just around the corner!
